John Simpson

John Simpson has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and leader in various industries. As the CEO and Founder of RentReporters since January 2017, John has focused on transforming renters' credit scores through the utilization of on-time rent history and has established strategic alliances with major credit bureaus such as Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. In June 2002, John founded CCG, a tax credit consulting firm, and previously led Portera Antique Spanish Doors from January 2007 to December 2017, where a significant collection of restored antique Spanish doors was curated. Additionally, John founded HigherUp, a payroll and HR technology startup for the middle market, which operated from January 2005 to January 2016. Prior to these ventures, John held a partner position at Deloitte from January 1989 to June 2002.
