Katherine Glasheen has a varied work experience in the field of aerospace engineering. Katherine began their career in 2013 as an Independent Researcher and Research Assistant at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. In 2014, they were a Research Intern at NASA's Armstrong Flight Research Center. Katherine then moved to Northrop Grumman in 2015 as a College Intern Technical. In 2016, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder. From 2017-2018, they were an NSF Graduate Research Fellow at the same university. In 2018, they were a Halaby Graduate Research Fellow at NCAR - The National Center for Atmospheric Research. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer - Guidance Systems at Renu Robotics.
Katherine Glasheen began their education in 2012, when they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. Katherine then continued their studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, where they earned a Master of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in 2018. Katherine is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder, which they are expected to complete in 2021.
