Katherine Shi

Katherine Shi is an experienced finance and media professional, currently serving as the China Editor and Team Leader at Reorg since February 2020, specializing in special situations, high yield bonds, distressed investments, and private financings. Prior roles include IPO Reporter at Anlan Capital, where Katherine covered pre-IPO financing and cross-border investments, and Freelance Finance Reporter at Dai1 Media, focusing on private equity and distressed firms in the Chinese market. Previous experience includes senior editorial work at Shanghai WOW! and broadcast journalism at Shanghai Media Group, where Katherine produced and reported on financial news. Katherine holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Cinema Studies from New York University.
