Climate Scientist & Co-Founder at repath

Thomas Remke has a diverse work experience in the field of climate science. Thomas is currently working as a Climate Scientist and Co-Founder at repath since July 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Scientific Researcher at the Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS) from March 2014 to June 2021. Thomas also completed a research internship at the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research from March 2011 to August 2011. Before that, they had a student internship at the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel from February 2010 to May 2010.

Thomas Remke started their education at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from 2007 to 2011. Thomas then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree at the University of Hamburg from 2011 to 2014. Finally, they completed their education at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, where they obtained a Doctor of Natural Sciences (Dr. rer. nat.) degree between 2016 and 2020. No specific field of study was provided for any of their degrees.
