Chris Hosmar

Chris Hosmar has a diverse work experience in design-related roles. Chris is currently working as a Senior Product Designer at Replicant since August 2022. Previously, they worked at Enghouse Networks as a Lead UX Designer from January 2020 to August 2022 and as a UX Designer from May 2019 to January 2020.

Before that, Chris was a UI/UX Designer at Espial, where they focused on creating and enhancing TV products. Chris used various design methodologies, including UX design briefs, user flows, prototypes, and usability testing. Chris worked on projects like a cross-platform solution for live/on-demand TV content. Chris was with Espial from May 2017 to May 2019.

Chris also had design roles at Microsoft as a UI/UX Designer for a brief period in 2016, at Espial as a UI/UX Designer from May 2015 to April 2016, and as a Freelance Designer at Chris Hosmar Design from May 2014 to April 2016.

Additionally, Chris worked as an Interaction Designer at Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada from January 2015 to May 2015. Chris started their career as a Dietary Aide at Alavida Lifestyles, where they worked from January 2011 to November 2014.

Lastly, Chris had a role as a Co-op Website and Graphic Designer at Invest Ottawa from April 2014 to August 2014. Chris was responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress websites, designing graphics for web and print, and editing videos using various software tools.

Chris Hosmar completed a Bachelor of Information Technology with a specialization in Interactive Multimedia and Design, Co-op Option at Carleton University from 2012 to 2017. During the same period, they also pursued an Interactive Media Development Advanced Diploma at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology. In March 2019, Chris obtained the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
