Parinaz (Paris) Aliahmad has worked in a variety of roles in the bioscience industry since 2008. Parinaz (Paris) began their career as a Scientist at BD Biosciences in 2008, followed by a Postdoctoral Scientist role at Biogen Idec. From 2009 to 2015, they worked as a Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Parinaz (Paris) then moved to Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Research Project Lead for two years before joining Synthetic Genomics as Head of Immunology in 2017. In 2019, they took on the role of Head of Early-Stage Assets, Research at Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Research Project Lead at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson. Most recently, they have been serving as Head of Research at Replicate Bioscience, Inc. since 2021.
Parinaz Aliahmad began their education in 1997, when they earned a B.S. in Microbiology & Immunology from McGill University. Parinaz (Paris) then attended the University of Toronto, where they earned an M.S. in Immunology in 2002. In 2003, they began their Ph.D. in Immunology at Scripps Research, which they completed in 2007.
