Xav Paice

Xav Paice has over 20 years of work experience. Xav began their career in 1999 as an Infrastructure Specialist at U-Bix Document Solutions. In 2001, they moved to Integral Technology Group as a Systems Consultant, where they were responsible for architecture, pre-sales, and systems engineering. In 2007, they joined Open Systems Specialists as a Technical Consultant and became the tech lead for TSM across the country. From 2013 to 2016, Xav Paice worked at Bank of New Zealand as a Senior Technical Specialist, Midrange Systems, and at Catalyst IT Limited as a Senior Cloud Systems Engineer. In 2016, they joined Canonical as a Staff Reliability Engineer, Cloud Operations Lead, and Cloud Reliability Engineer. Currently, they are an Engineering Manager at Replicated.

Xav Paice has a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Auckland, which they began in 2006. Xav also has several certifications, including a Red Hat Certified Virtualization Administrator from Red Hat in 2010, an IBM Certified Deployment Professional, TSM 6.1 from IBM in 2009, a Red Hat Certified Engineer from Red Hat in 2008, a Foundation Certificate in IT-Service Management from ITIL in 2006, and a VTSP 4 from VMware.
