Blas Piñar Pinedo

Blas Piñar Pinedo has a diverse work experience, starting in 2005 as a Sales Specialist at JohnsonDiversey Food Division, where they managed direct sales and distributors in Madrid and Toledo. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as an Account Manager at Merck Millipore Process Solutions Division, responsible for sales in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Blas then joined Proquimia as an Area Manager for Madrid, where they handled sales for distributors and key accounts in the food industry and institutional hygiene division. In 2014, they transitioned to Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Key Account Manager for Bioproduction in Spain, Portugal, and Italy. Blas later became the West and South Europe Sales Manager for Bioproduction, overseeing a team covering several European countries. In 2019, they took on the role of Senior Sales Manager for the Southwest Europe Bioproduction Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Currently, they serve as the Director of Sales for West Europe at Repligen Corporation, leading a team of Senior Account Managers and interacting with business specialists and field application specialists to optimize biotech and biopharma processes.

Blas Piñar Pinedo attended Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Ingeniero Superior Agrónomo with a focus on Fitotecnia. Blas attended Colegio Nuestra Señora del Recuerdo from 1985 to 1996, where they pursued the biosanitary option. Additionally, they attended Stonyhurst School from 1987 to 1988, completing the 4 EGB level.
