Des Reale possesses extensive experience in operational management within the manufacturing sector, currently serving as Operations Manager and previously as Manufacturing Manager at Repligen Corporation since August 2021. Prior roles include Value Stream Leader for Injection Moulding at Nypro, A Jabil Company, and Plant Operations Manager at BD-GenCell Biosystems. Des has also held significant positions at BD, Boston Scientific, PCC AEROSTRUCTURES, Weir Minerals, and Lufthansa Technik Turbine Shannon, demonstrating a strong background in production and plant operations management. Des holds a Bachelor of Technology in Production Management from the University of Limerick and a Higher Diploma in Executive Management from Technological University of the Shannon, Athlone Campus.
