Phil Yuen, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience in the field of bioprocessing and research. Phil currently serves as the Principal Application Scientist at Repligen Corporation, where they supervise a team of direct reports, collaborates with industry and academic partners, and presents technical and research presentations. Prior to this, they held roles as Senior Application Scientist and Application Scientist at the same company, where they played a key role in the launch and implementation of a novel clarification filter and served as a corporate liaison. Dr. Yuen also has experience as a Graduate Student and Teaching Assistant at UC Davis, where they obtained their Ph.D. and gained expertise in chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry. Phil started their career as a Membrane Chemist at SpectrumLabs.com, where they conducted research on hollow fiber membranes and contributed to the development of experimental procedures. As an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Irvine, they focused on the design and synthesis of boronated resveratrol derivatives for cancer cell inhibition.

Phil Yuen, Ph.D. earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemistry from UC Irvine in 2008. Phil then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at the University of California, Davis from 2010 to 2016.
