Travis Ward has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Travis began their career as a Q Center Tutor at the University of Connecticut in 2005. Travis then worked as a Lab Tech Intern at Teleflex Medical in 2007. Travis also undertook a Biomedical Engineering Senior Design Project at the University of Connecticut in the same year. In 2008, they served as a Quality Control Biochemistry Research Associate at Biogen Idec. Travis then returned to the University of Connecticut and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant from 2009 to 2011. Travis subsequently joined Stanadyne as a Project Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Travis then transitioned to Repligen Corporation, where they held multiple roles including Bioprocess Engineer, Senior Engineering Manager, and Senior Director of R&D. Additionally, they worked as a Math and Physics Tutor at Google Helpouts from 2013 to 2014.
Travis Ward has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, completed from 2009 to 2011. Travis also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in Mathematics, obtained from the University of Connecticut from 2004 to 2008. In addition, Travis has obtained certifications in ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor from CALISO Corporation in 2016 and Six Sigma Green Belt from Central Connecticut State University in 2012.
