Emily Travis Howard

Emily Travis Howard is an experienced legal professional with a focus on complex commercial litigation, labor and employment, and environmental and workplace safety litigation. Currently serving as an Associate at Locke Lord LLP since December 2019, Emily previously held the title of Special Counsel and Associate at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP from July 2014 to November 2019. Prior experience includes a Litigation Associate role at Baker Botts, LLP, where responsibilities involved products liability and asbestos defense, and summer associate positions at both Baker Botts and Bracewell & Giuliani LLP. Emily began legal training as a Prosecution Intern at the Travis County District Attorney's Office and has a background in teaching English in France. Emily holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from The University of Texas School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Southwestern University.
