Erik Abalian

Erik Abalian is a Senior Operations Engineer at Repsol, engaged in the Reggane project focusing on Lower Devonian Gas development. With extensive experience in drilling engineering across various geographical regions, Erik has served in roles such as Project Drilling Engineer in Guyana, Offshore Drilling Engineer in both Norway and the North Sea, and has contributed to the drilling digitalization project at Repsol Global in Madrid. Erik's career includes significant contributions to appraisal and exploration drilling for projects in Mexico, Indonesia, and West Siberia. Erik holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a Bachelor's degree from Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
