Jonathan Hughes-D'Aeth has a strong background in education and leadership, with experience spanning over several decades. Jonathan began their career at Rugby School, where they served as a Housemaster for Michell House and the Geography Department from 1979 to 1995. Following this, they took on the role of Headmaster at Milton Abbey School, a position they held for 15 years from 1995 to 2010. Currently, Jonathan is the Head Master (Principal) at Repton Dubai School, where they have been since 2010. Repton Dubai School offers a comprehensive education to approximately 2,250 students, blending traditional British Independent Education with an international approach.
Jonathan Hughes-D'Aeth attended Haileybury from 1969 to 1973, where they studied Geography, History, and English. Jonathan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography at the University of Liverpool from 1975 to 1978. In 1978, they furthered their education at the University of Cambridge, where they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with a focus on Geography in 1979.
