Avin Hardeo

Avin Hardeo, AMIChemE, has extensive experience in investment banking and financial analysis, currently serving as Manager of Investment Banking at Republic Bank since November 2021. With a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions, distressed asset restructuring, and raising over US $3.0 billion in debt financing, Avin excels in client relationship management and operational supervision. Previous roles include Trader and Investment Analyst at Guardian Asset Management, where Avin managed a US $2 million options trading portfolio and conducted comprehensive financial analyses. Earlier experience includes serving as Regional Research Analyst at First Citizens Investment Services, focusing on macro-economic performance and investment suitability, and various engineering roles at the Ministry of Energy & Energy Industries, encompassing financial statement analysis and industry stakeholder engagement. Avin holds an MSc in International Finance and another MSc in Chemical and Process Engineering, both from the University of the West Indies.
