Guo-Guang (Greg) Du has extensive experience in scientific research and management, currently serving as a Manager/Scientist at R&D Systems since 2004. In this role, Guo-Guang leads a team focused on solving expression challenges for complex secreted and surface proteins, successfully addressing issues across various families, including cytokines, growth factors, enzymes, and receptors, through advanced techniques in gene modification and cell line engineering. Prior to this position, Guo-Guang was a Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Toronto from 1996 to 2004, specializing in the structure-function analysis of the ryanodine receptor, where significant accomplishments included the isolation and cloning of a toxic 15-kb RyR2 gene. Educationally, Guo-Guang earned a D.Phil. in Physiology from the University of Oxford and holds both Bachelor and Master degrees in Clinical Medicine from Jiangxi Medical College/Nanchang University and Sun Yat-sen University.
