Teal Canady

Teal Canady has a range of work experience in the technology and data analysis fields. Teal most recently worked as the Vice President of Technology at Research Defender, where they focused on securing the platform and creating redundancy for business continuity scenarios. Teal also worked as the Director of Data Architecture at Research Defender, where they led projects to migrate to a serverless platform using various AWS tools and technologies. Prior to that, they were a Principal Data Engineer at Lucid, LLC, where they designed and implemented a data streaming system and created a data lake using Amazon Web Services. Teal also worked as an Independent Datawarehouse Consultant at Spectrum Group International, where they gathered requirements and implemented financial analysis and reporting systems. Teal also has experience as a Sr. Business Intelligence Architect at Lieberman Research Worldwide, a Sr. Production Database Administrator at Interviewing Services of America and OTX, a Quality Assurance Engineer at LiveOffice, and a Technical Analyst at Mitratech.

Teal Canady attended El Camino Community College from 1997 to 1998, where they studied Pre-Calculus and General Education. After that, they attended The Evergreen State College from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and RDMS.
