Elena Chung

Elena Chung is a Graduate Research Assistant at Tulane University since September 2023 and has held several consulting positions at the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials, Inc. (RIFM) and Takasago International Corp. (USA) since August 2022 and July 2021, respectively. Previous experience includes a Nonclinical Drug Safety Computational Toxicology Internship at Merck in 2024, a Graduate Research Fellow at Rowan University from September 2022 to August 2023, and multiple roles at Rutgers University, including Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant. Elena Chung's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Rowan University, a Master of Science in Computational and Integrative Biology, and a Master of Science in Toxicology from Rutgers University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology from St. John's University. Educational foundations were laid at Midwood High School in the Medical Science Program, where Elena Chung graduated in 2013.
