Rajeev Colaço's work experience includes various roles related to monitoring, evaluation, research, learning, and adapting in international development programs. Rajeev has served as a Senior Director, Director, and Senior Manager at RTI International, where they led and managed teams, designed and implemented monitoring and evaluation agendas, conducted data analysis and research, evaluated innovative programs, and contributed to best practices for program planning and costing. Rajeev also worked as a Deputy Editor-in-Chief at RTI Press, where they contributed to research dissemination and oversaw the peer review process for publications. Additionally, they have served as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University and held positions at Kiran, Inc., UNC Chapel Hill, Deshpande Foundation, MEASURE Evaluation, UAB School of Public Health, and Glavmostroy Hospital.
Rajeev Colaço holds a Doctor of Public Health degree in Maternal and Child Health, Global Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they earned between 2005 and 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology, International Health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, from 2003 to 2005. Rajeev also holds an MD degree in Medicine from The Russian State Medical University, earned in 2002, and another MD degree in Medicine from Lomonosov Moscow State University, from 1996 to 2001.
