Paul McCloud

Paul McCloud has a diverse work experience in the technology industry spanning over multiple roles and companies. Paul currently works at ResearchGate as the Head of Product Engineering, responsible for leading high-functioning teams in frontend core engineering. Prior to this, Paul held the position of Lead Engineering Manager at ResearchGate, leading teams responsible for providing tools to increase platform stability and user experience. Paul also has experience as a Senior Engineering Manager, Engineering Manager, and React Native Developer at ResearchGate.

Before joining ResearchGate, Paul was a Co-Founder and Full Stack Developer at Atdaa Mobile App, where they designed and developed a location-based mobile application using React Native. Paul integrated various technologies such as Redux, Fabric, Code Push, and Firebase.

In their earlier career, Paul worked at Google as a Technical Solutions Specialist for Chrome for Work and Edu. Paul also worked at Metaswitch Networks as a Customer Support Engineer and at National Instruments as a Team Manager and Applications Engineer.
