Stefan Dobrowolny

Stefan Dobrowolny has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies. Stefan started their career as an Assistent Developer at Fraunhofer IDMT in 2009, where they designed and implemented the PAMIR Framework using Python, Django, and MySQL. Stefan then worked as a Web Developer at VZnet Ltd from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, Stefan joined ResearchGate, where they held various positions. Stefan started as a Software Engineer and worked their way up to become a Senior Software Engineer in 2014. In this role, they contributed to the development of ResearchGate's products and systems.

Starting from 2016, Stefan worked as an Engineering Manager at ResearchGate, overseeing teams and projects. Stefan was responsible for managing stakeholder priorities, gathering requirements, and developing roadmaps for communication and progress tracking.

In 2019, Stefan transitioned to the role of Technical Product Lead - Business Operations at ResearchGate. In this position, they focused on strategy development, identifying opportunities for unification and alignment, and managing stakeholder relationships. Stefan also performed root cause analysis, evaluated solutions, and managed external contracts and negotiations.

Stefan Dobrowolny attended Technische Universität Ilmenau from 2002 to 2009, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Audiovisuelle Technik.
