April Vanhettinga

April VanHettinga has extensive experience in training and emergency medical services, currently serving as a Field Craft Instructor at Reservoir International, LLC since June 2011, where responsibilities include leading pre-deployment training for over 3,000 students annually. Prior experience includes serving as a Lieutenant EMT-B with Mutual Aid Emergency Services, providing emergency medical care and training new employees, and fulfilling the role of Team Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve, completing two tours in Iraq and overseeing civil affairs and medical training. April holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Child Development from Atlantic Cape Community College.
