Christopher Ponners

Christopher Ponners has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Christopher started their career as an Engineering Assistant at Five States Energy Company in 2012. In 2013, they served as an Engineering Analyst at the same company and also worked as a PSAT/SAT Prep Instructor in their self-employed venture. Christopher then interned as a Reservoir Engineering Intern at Netherland, Sewell & Associates, Inc. and Apache Corporation in 2013 and 2014, respectively. In 2015, they gained practical experience as a Production Engineering Field Intern at Apache Corporation. Christopher then joined Tregan Energy in 2017 as a Reservoir Engineer, where they worked until 2020. In 2020, they joined Meadowood Energy Partners as the Managing Director and Head of Engineering before moving on to their current role as a Senior Reservoir and Completions Engineer at ResFrac Corporation in 2021.

Christopher Ponners attended Parish Episcopal School from 1998 to 2013, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Following this, they enrolled at The University of Texas at Austin from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering and Computational Engineering. In 2017, they briefly studied at Delft University of Technology, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.
