Garrett Fowler has significant experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on reservoir engineering and optimization. Garrett began their career as an intern at Red Arrow Energy, where they contributed to data room research and acquisition offers. Garrett then interned at Occidental Petroleum Corporation and subsequently joined Oxy as a Reservoir Engineer. In this role, they worked on waterflood optimization and surveillance, overseeing drilling projects, and increasing reserves through reservoir layer identification. Garrett joined Tachyus in 2015 as a Principal Reservoir Engineer, leading the technical side of the business development effort and expanding the company's global footprint. Currently, they hold the positions of Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer at ResFrac Corporation.
Garrett Fowler attended Crescent Valley High School from 2003 to 2007, where they earned their high school diploma with a focus on general studies. Following this, they enrolled at Stanford University in 2007 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Energy Resources Engineering in 2011. Garrett continued their education at Stanford by pursuing a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, which they completed in 2012.
