Janz Rondon has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Starting in 2003, they worked as an Operations Engineer, executing on-site operations and acting as a technical and operations representative in multiple basins in Colombia and the North West of the USA. In 2006, they became an Operations Lead, leading operations at the largest district in North America. From 2007 to 2009, they served as a Technical and Sales Engineer, developing business for customers in the region and leading technical operations. In 2010, they transitioned to the role of Project Manager and Account Sales Engineer, leading multi-disciplinary projects for a key customer account. Janz then became a Product Manager, responsible for strategic business planning and implementation of a step change technology in the oil and gas industry in North and South America. In 2013, they became the Engineering Division Manager, managing a technical engineering staff and overseeing high potential operational projects. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Sales Manager for the Unconventional Resources division, responsible for strategic planning for customer accounts. In 2018, they were promoted to Manager of Instructors and Senior Instructor, managing a learning and development staff and overseeing technical content. Most recently, since 2020, they have been working at ResFrac Corporation as a Senior Completions and Reservoir Engineer, optimizing operators' return on investment through simulation modeling of the development life-cycle.
Janz Rondon began their education at Universidad de Los Andes in 1997, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Janz successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2001. Following this, they furthered their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from 2001 to 2002.
