Michele Kern-Rappy Esq. serves as President of Michele Kern Rappy Dispute Resolution, PLLC and Mediator at Resolute Systems, LLC since June 2023. Previously, Michele held the position of Co-chair of the attorney advocacy committee in the Dispute Resolution section of the New York State Bar Association from May 2020 to June 2023 and worked as a Senior Mediator and Senior Settlement Coordinator at the New York State Supreme Court from October 1988 to June 2023. Additionally, Michele co-chaired the Alternative Dispute Resolution committee at the New York Women's Bar Association from March 2017 to March 2022 and served as a Board Member at the Family & Divorce Mediation Council of Greater New York from November 2019 to November 2021. Michele also contributed to the academic field as an Adjunct Professor of legal research and legal writing at Baruch College from March 1992 to June 1994. Michele holds a Doctor of Law degree specializing in litigation mediation from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baruch College.
