Steven Howe has a diverse work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Steven currently serves as the VP of Process Development at Resolution Therapeutics, a company focused on developing macrophage cell therapies for life-threatening inflammatory organ damage. In this role, they are responsible for developing manufacturing processes and platforms for the company's assets. Prior to this, they worked at GSK, where they held multiple roles including Senior Director of Cell and Gene Therapy Product Development and Head of Process Research. At GSK, they led a team dedicated to the research, development, and translation of advanced therapies into clinical products. Before their time at GSK, Steven worked as a Senior Research Associate at University College London and as a Research Associate at Imperial College London.
Steven Howe completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the University of Bristol from 1994 to 1997. Steven then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Molecular Genetics from Imperial College London, completing the program from 1997 to 2001.
