Laura Cox

Laura Cox has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Laura started their career as a Staff Accountant at Grant Thornton LLP, where they were responsible for planning audits, preparing financial statements, and conducting performance evaluations. Laura then moved on to become the General Accounting Manager at ABX Diagnostics, Inc. and later at HORIBA Medical, where they handled all aspects of operational, accounting, and financial functions. Laura also served as the Director of Finance & Accounting/General Accounting Manager at HORIBA Medical, where they managed sales tax audits, assisted with payroll processing, and prepared financial information for outside audits. At Horiba, they managed daily accounting operations, trained and supervised support staff, and handled various special projects. Laura's experience also includes working as an Accounting/Finance Consultant at Capital Group | American Funds, where they reviewed and approved financial reports and performed analysis on system outputs. Currently, they are a Senior Accounting Manager at Resolve Systems, where they support the VP of Finance in identifying and spearheading process improvements and collaborates cross-functionally to ensure compliance of revenue recognition policies.

Laura Cox has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton. Laura is also a Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
