Daniel Burka has extensive experience in product and design. Daniel is currently the Director of Product and Design at Resolve to Save Lives, where their primary project is Simple. Prior to this, they worked as a Design Partner and Design Lead at Google Ventures from 2012 to 2018. Daniel co-founded Silverorange, a boutique web agency, in 1999 and has worked with clients such as Mozilla, Hippo Education, and Duolingo. In 2011, they co-founded Milk Inc., a start-up that was later acquired by Google. Daniel also served as the Director of Design at Tiny Speck and was a Creative Director at Digg.com. Additionally, they co-founded Pownce, a social network that was acquired by SixApart.
Daniel Burka attended the University of Prince Edward Island, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a focus on History. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Toronto to earn a Bachelor's degree in History.
