Jon Harwood

Jon Harwood, MBA, ASQ MSSBB has extensive work experience in quality and continuous improvement roles. Jon is currently the Global Vice President of Quality at FLEXcon, where they are responsible for overseeing quality initiatives on a global scale. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President of Quality North American Operations at the same company.

Before joining FLEXcon, Jon worked at Resonetics as the Global Director of Quality & Continuous Improvement. In this role, they were responsible for managing quality and regulatory standards across 15 sites worldwide. Jon also provided support for regulatory audits, customer audits, and internal audits for ISO 13485 and CFR-21 Part 820 compliance.

Jon also has experience in the defense industry, having worked at Mercury Systems as the Director of Quality Systems and Director of Quality for Trusted Mission Solutions. In these roles, they were responsible for ensuring quality standards and systems were in place.

Prior to their roles at Mercury Systems, Jon held positions at Hollingsworth & Vose as the Global Quality Systems Manager and Quality Manager for North American Operations. Jon also worked at Servomex as a Quality Manager, where they successfully implemented Six Sigma and led continuous improvement efforts.

Earlier in their career, Jon worked at Spincraft as a Quality Engineer and was later promoted to Quality Manager. Here, they were responsible for maintaining quality standards in accordance with AS9100, Navy Nuclear Regulations, and NADCAP certifications.

With their diverse background and expertise in quality management, Jon Harwood brings a wealth of experience to any organization they work with.

Jon Harwood has a diverse education history. Jon obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Business from Edinburgh Napier University from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire from 2000 to 2003. Jon also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Quality Management from Mount Washington College, which they completed between 1996 and 1998. In terms of certifications, Jon Harwood has achieved a Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from the ASQ - World Headquarters in June 2020. Jon also holds certifications in HAACP Certification, HAACP Verification Validation and Auditing, Unconscious Bias, and Certified Internal Auditor AITF 16949, all obtained in recent years. Additionally, they earned a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from ASQ in 2008.
