Karen Tipton

Karen Tipton has extensive work experience in the banking industry. Karen started their career as a National Bank Examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency in 1982 and worked there until 1987. Karen then joined Bank of Oklahoma as a Loan Review Officer in 1987, but their tenure with the company lasted only until 1988. Tipton worked at Hibernia National Bank/Capital One Bank from 1992 to 2006, holding the position of Vice President/Business Banking. Karen then worked at Regions Bank as a Commercial Real Estate Lender from 2006 to 2007. Tipton joined JPMorgan Chase in 2007 as a Private Banker and stayed with the company until joining Resource Bank in 2011. At Resource Bank, they currently hold the role of Sr. Vice President - Private and Commercial Banking.
