Brad Simcox has over 15 years of work experience in the energy and utility industry. Brad started their career at Washington Mutual, Inc. as a Portfolio Analyst from February 2003 to July 2004. Brad then worked at Expedia as a Competitive Intelligence Analyst from July 2004 to July 2005.
In July 2005, Brad joined Puget Sound Energy and held various roles including Strategic Planning Analyst, Senior Strategic Planning Analyst, Senior Program Development Analyst, and Residential Market Manager - Energy Efficiency & DSM. Brad worked at Puget Sound Energy from July 2005 to May 2011.
Following their time at Puget Sound Energy, Brad joined Starbucks Coffee Company as the Manager of Global Energy & Resource Management from May 2011 to May 2013, where they assessed energy-related emerging platforms and technologies.
Brad then moved on to Current, powered by GE. From May 2013 to January 2016, they worked as a Utility Relations Manager, developing partnerships with utility and program implementers to grow GE's business. From January 2016 to May 2017, Brad served as the Director of Strategic Utility Engagement, engaging utilities as strategic clients and integrating GE's offerings with utility needs.
After leaving GE, Brad worked at Ecova as the Utility Sales Director for California & Hawaii from May 2017 to February 2018. Currently, Brad is employed at Resource Innovations as the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Utility Engagement since February 2018. In this role, they work with utilities throughout the western US and Canada to provide innovative solutions and customer offerings.
Brad Simcox attended Whitworth University from 1999 to 2002 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, and Leadership Studies.
