Christena Durost

Christena Durost is an experienced professional specializing in reverse mortgage counseling and training, currently serving as a Reverse Mortgage Counselor and Program Manager at HOPE since April 2016. Durost has been with NeighborWorks America as a Reverse Mortgage Trainer and Instructional Designer since 2004, focusing on training active and prospective counselors. Additionally, Durost has provided expert 1:1 education and counseling at Resources for Seniors, Inc. since 2002, ensuring clients understand their reverse mortgage options. Previously, Durost worked as the Director of Information Services at Resources for Seniors from 2000 to 2014, delivering comprehensive information and creating a resource directory. Durost holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Psychology from the University of New Hampshire.
