Matthew Snyder has an extensive work experience in the creative and technology industries. Matthew began their career in 1988 as a Design Engineer and Design Team Leader at Sony's Shinagawa headquarters in the Personal Video/Consumer Video Divisions, where they were part of the team responsible for the development of the world's first hand-held video camera with 8mm tape. In 2007, they founded and became the CEO of ADObjects, Inc. (Analog.Digital.Objects, Inc.), a strategic cross-media consulting firm. In 2010, they founded and became the Producer of MXM (Media Cross Media), a monthly evening New York City invite-only event focused on integrated marketing strategies. Matthew also became an investor in Wantlet, NowPublic.com, and Mobify in 2010. In 2011, they co-founded and became the CEO of ResponsiveAds, Inc., a leading performance-driven creative advertising tech for delivering highly engaging media. Matthew also held various roles at Nokia from 1996 to 2008, including Director Strategy & Business Development, Nokia Advertising, Head of Strategy and Business Development for Mobile Search, and Senior Manager for Games Publishing.
Matthew Snyder attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1982 to 1986, graduating with a BA/BS in Enginnering/Liberal Arts& Sciences. From 1986 to 1987, they attended Konan University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Japanese Studies. Matthew also attended Glenbrook North, though no degree was earned.
