Matthew Jackson has a strong background in software engineering and development. Matthew started their career as a Junior Developer at VersaSuite, where they designed and developed templates for clients, handled database administration, and provided technical support. Matthew then moved on to Accruent, where they worked as a Software Engineer on the Tools Team, writing SQL stored procedures and handling data migrations. Matthew later transitioned into product development and worked on bug fixes, SQL performance enhancements, and new feature development.
Matthew then joined TreeHouse as a Software Engineer, where they played a key role in supporting the company's digital needs, including developing marketing pages, content management systems, and automated customer communication platforms. Matthew also established Continuous Integration practices and worked with various SAAS offerings.
After TreeHouse, Matthew joined Help.com as a Software Engineer and Scrum Master, taking ownership of the integrations service and improving its functionality. Matthew then worked at Heath Software as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on developing ETL and reporting processes for a fintech client. Matthew ensured the processes were resilient and performed efficiently even without production quality data and application logs.
Matthew's experience also includes roles at Kabam as a Software Engineer, where they worked on server-side features and legacy code, and at Lob as an Engineering Manager, where they guided and facilitated the Developer Experience team and implemented automated systems for simultaneous codebase changes. Matthew later became the Development Director at Savas Labs, collaborating with other company leaders on growth strategies and improving operational efficiency.
Currently, Matthew is the Founding Engineer at Ressio Software, where they are involved in building and shaping the company from its early stages.
Matthew Jackson attended Tarrant County College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Radiologic Technology. Matthew then went on to attend The University of Texas at Arlington from 2007 to 2009, where they studied Rhetoric/Composition and Philosophy, but did not earn a degree.
