Rachel O'Connor

Rachel O'Connor, CFA, serves as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Rest since August 2021, also holding the role of Acting Head of Fixed Income. Previously, Rachel was a Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income & Cash at U Ethical Investors and managed portfolios at Vanguard, where responsibilities included overseeing global fixed income portfolios and leading a trading team. Earlier experience includes a Director position at UBS, focusing on Australian bond portfolios and delivering asset management solutions. Rachel also held senior roles at ING Investment Management Australia, managing significant investment grade credit portfolios, and contributed to ANZ in both money market management and fixed income distribution. Educational qualifications include a Charterholder designation from the CFA Institute, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from FINSIA, and degrees in Accountancy and Economics from QUT and The University of Queensland, respectively.
