Tom Haywood

Tom Haywood has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Tom started their career as an Audit and Technical Support Executive at ABCe, where they prepared clients for web audit and improved efficiency with scripting and application development. Tom then worked as a Software Developer at The Listening Company, developing plugins and front-end interfaces for calling campaigns.

Tom then joined Moore Stephens as a Consultant, where they managed client relationships, gathered requirements, and worked on R&D projects involving TFS, SSRS, and SharePoint APIs. After that, they became a Senior Software Engineer at EasyRoommate, leading cross-functional teams and working on key projects such as mobile web site rewrite and new mailbox implementation.

In 2015, Tom joined broadbandchoices.co.uk as a Software Developer, supporting the company's Spanish property website and improving site performance based on usage analytics. Tom then worked as a Senior Developer at BothHands, where they built a web-based portal in Azure for the Sports Coaching Industry.

Tom's next role was at Trainline, where they initially worked as an Agile Engineer, focusing on payments and high availability systems. Tom then transitioned to an Agile Android Engineer role, working on frontend development with Java and Kotlin.

Currently, Tom is employed as a Software Engineer at Rest Less UK, where they utilize their skills in software development.

Throughout their career, Tom has demonstrated their proficiency in various programming languages, their ability to work in cross-functional teams, and their knack for innovation and problem-solving.

Tom Haywood attended Dereham Neatherd High School from 1997 to 2002. After completing high school, they went on to study Business Organisations at the University of Hertfordshire from 2004 to 2007. During their time at the university, they focused on various areas including business, marketing, finance, HR, management consulting, and operations management.
