Tori Jackson Hines

Tori Jackson Hines has a diverse work experience, primarily in the education sector. Tori is currently the Founder of Lead with Excellence, an organization focused on providing leadership training and support for non-profit and education organizations. Before that, they were the Founder and Executive Director of Resurgence Hall, a highly ranked state charter school in Georgia. Tori also worked as a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools, where they received comprehensive training in urban charter school creation and leadership. Additionally, Tori has experience as a Manager of Teacher Leadership Development at Teach For America, where they led and supported corps members in achieving transformational outcomes in the classrooms. Tori started their career as a Founding First Grade Lead Teacher at Professional Prep Charter School and later served as a Lead Teacher for 1st Grade at Uncommon Schools. Tori also has experience outside of the education field, having worked as a Clinical Research Director at Dominion Medical Associates, Inc. Tori began their career in education as a 2nd Grade Teacher in LAUSD through Teach For America. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a passion for creating positive change in education.

Tori Jackson Hines has a BA in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of Maryland, an MA in Elementary Education from Loyola Marymount University, and an MS in Neuroscience and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
