Christopher Yip has a diverse and extensive work experience. Christopher started their career as a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company in 2003 and worked there until 2005. Christopher then joined TPG Capital, where they served as an Investor for 14 years. At TPG Capital, they led private equity and growth equity investments and exits in technology-enabled business services. Christopher also served as a hands-on public and private board member, participating in committees such as Audit, M&A, Nominating and Governance, and Compensation. In 2019, Christopher joined RET Ventures as a Partner and Managing Director. RET Ventures is a venture capital firm that focuses on investing in technology and services for the real estate industry. Christopher is currently serving in this role. Additionally, in 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at Taylor Morrison.
Christopher Yip completed their high school education at Collegiate School from 1987 to 1999 and obtained a High School Diploma. Christopher then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Economics at Harvard University from 1999 to 2003. Simultaneously, they also completed a Master's degree in Computer Science at Harvard University during the same period. Later, Christopher attended Stanford University Graduate School of Business from 2007 to 2009, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree.
