Rick Gierke

Rick Gierke has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Rick started their career as a Grunt at ON-Site Techs in 1996 and then moved on to the US Navy in 1988, where they served as an Aviation Machinist Mate 1st Class, managing the Quality Assurance division and maintaining the squadron's network and computer systems. In 1998, they joined Computer Sciences Corporation as a Systems Engineer, followed by a role as a Senior Systems Engineer at Peterbuilt Technology in 2000. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at Pan Pacific Retail Properties as a Director of IT, where they developed IT policies and procedures and managed staffing and IT projects. In 2006, they became the Director of IT for GMS Realty, LLC in China, where they developed and managed IT budgets and hired and managed an IT team. From 2007 to 2014, they served as the Vice President of Information Technology at Gerrity Group, aligning IT technology and infrastructure with corporate strategies and managing international IT operational teams. Currently, they are the Director of Information Technology at Retail Opportunity Investments Corp.
