Michael M.

Michael M. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael is currently serving as the Founding Managing Partner at Greenfield New Venture Studio Fund since January 2023. Prior to that, they founded Retailsphere in September 2019, a retail industry platform aimed at enhancing retail relationships.

In 2004, they founded Knowland, the largest Data as a Service/SaaS business in the meetings and events industry. Michael held multiple roles at Knowland, including Founder & Member Board of Directors, Founder & Interim Chief Executive Officer (from December 2020 to May 2021), and Founder & CEO (from October 2004 to July 2012). During their tenure, the company achieved significant growth and recognition.

Michael has also served as a Venture Partner at Converge Venture Partners since November 2015, where they focus on providing capital and connections for tech entrepreneurs. Michael has been a Member of Park City Angels since January 2018 as well.

Additionally, they have contributed to the MIT Sloan School of Management as a Member of the Alumni Advisory Board from June 2017 to May 2018. Michael also worked as a Venture Partner at CommonAngels Ventures Fund IV LP from October 2014 to October 2015.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Michael worked as a Contract Software Engineer for various companies and government agencies from 1995 to 2000. Michael began their career as a Lift Operator at Aspen Skiing Company in 1994.

Finally, they furthered their studies at the renowned MIT Sloan School of Management as a MIT Sloan Fellow, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from 2015 to 2016.
