Christian Emmerich

Christian Emmerich is the Co-Founder & Lead Software Engineering at Gauss Robotics since July 2023. Previously, Christian worked as the Head of Software Development at Rethink Robotics GmbH and as a Software Developer at Roboception GmbH. Christian's experience also includes being a Researcher at the University of Bielefeld and a PhD student at Universität Rostock, Institut für Informatik, where Christian worked as a student worker. Additionally, Christian has experience as a student researcher at Planet GmbH and completed an internship in Controlling Dep. at Bombardier Transportation. Christian holds a Dr. Ing. in Intelligent Systems from Bielefeld University and a Diplom-Mathematiker (Dipl.-Math.) in Mathematik from Universität Rostock.
