Johnathan Poynor

Johnathan Poynor has a long and varied work experience. Starting in 2009, they served as a Combat Medic in the US Army. In 2013, they joined the US Army Reserves as a Human Resources Specialist and worked as a Server at Bonefish Grill and Cracker Barrel. In 2014, they were a Brigade Liaison Officer, Battalion Logistics Officer, and Logistics Captains Career Course student in the US Army. Johnathan also held the position of Brigade Assistant Logistics Officer, Company Executive Officer, and Platoon Leader in the US Army. In 2022, they were an Operations Manager at Retif Oil & Fuel and a Data Analyst Intern at Sysco. During their time at Retif Oil & Fuel, they increased warehouse storage capacity by 8% without increasing operational costs. At Sysco, they created a dashboard to visualize data for delivery errors over the previous year and developed dashboards that assisted the Vice Presidents of the Transportation, Sales, and Operations Departments.

Johnathan Poynor is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Logistics Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, which they began in 2021. Prior to this, they attended the Army Logistics University - College of Professional and Continuing Education for the Logistics Captain Career Course from 2020 to 2021. From 2013 to 2016, Johnathan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from the University of South Alabama. Johnathan has also obtained a Google Data Analytics Certificate from Coursera in August 2022, as well as a Demonstrated Senior Logistician (DSL) from SOLE-The International Society of Logistics in April 2021.
