Silla Jónsdóttir

Silla Jónsdóttir is the current CEO of Retina Risk. Prior to this, they were a board member at Videntifier from August 2013 to November 2018. From January 1999 to June 2018, they worked as an officer for innovation, policy, and partnerships at NATO. Silla also worked as a lawyer for policy and project management at the Ministry of Interior from January 2014 to December 2015, and as a legal advisor for the Icelandic Coast Guard from January 2013 to December 2014. Prior to that, they were a lawyer at Logmenn Austurstraeti from January 1996 to September 1997.

Silla Jónsdóttir has a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Cambridge in International Law and Legal Studies, as well as a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Háskóli Íslands in Competition Law. Silla has also been a Nordplus scholarship exchange student at Aarhus University in Law. Additionally, Silla Jónsdóttir has certification from Coursera in Strategic Management and Innovation Specialization, Strategy Formulation from Copenhagen Business School, Introduction to Marketing from University of Pennsylvania, Understanding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from University of Groningen, Smart Cities from The Open University Business School, and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.
