Layonmai Sarma

Layonmai Sarma has a strong background in technology and leadership roles. Layonmai is currently serving as the Vice President of Technology at RETISIO since September 2022. Prior to this, Sarma worked at AIEnterprise Inc, starting as a Senior Architect from March 2018 to April 2021, and then as the Director of Technology from April 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at ANVAYA Analytics Lab Pvt Ltd from July 2016 to March 2018, where they were responsible for architecting an analytics-based marketing and customer engagement platform. Sarma also worked at Eka Software Solutions as a Principal Engineer from April 2015 to July 2016, and as a Senior Lead Engineer from January 2012 to March 2015. Layonmai started their career at CoreObjects (acquired by Symphony Teleca) as a Principal Product Engineer from February 2010 to December 2011. Prior to that, they worked at LG CNS India as a Technical Analyst from July 2006 to February 2010, and at Logica CMG (acquired by CGI) as an IT Consultant from October 2004 to July 2006. Layonmai Sarma completed a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical Engineering from Assam Engineering College (A.E.C) between the years 1998 and 2002. In 2020 and 2021, Layonmai Sarma pursued an EDP in Leadership & Change Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. In addition to these academic qualifications, Layonmai Sarma has obtained several certifications including "Building Resilient Streaming Systems on Google Cloud Platform" from Coursera in January 2018, "Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals" from Coursera in December 2017, "Machine Learning" from Coursera in December 2017, "Parallel Programming in Java" from Coursera in October 2017, and "Certified Reactive Architect Exam v4" from Lightbend, Inc. in January 2021.
