Richard Schutte

Retriev Technologies is proud to have Richard Schutte's knowledge and vision as a key part of the management team. Richard serves as the Vice President of Technology in Trail, British Columbia. With over 20 years of experience in the mining, industrial gases, and battery recycling industries, Richard is responsible for process technology utilized in recycling lithium-ion and lithium primary batteries. Richard is conversant in best operational practices, as well as regulatory affairs, research, and development. Richard holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of British Columbia and is an integral part of the leadership team.
