Alexander Mason

Alexander Mason has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and companies. Alexander currently holds the position of Chief Revenue Officer at Retriever, where they are tasked with accelerating the company's growth and scaling up its operations. Prior to this, they founded Birdway AB in 2021.

In 2015, Alexander joined Film and Tell as a Board Member, focusing on sustainable growth without compromising the company's award-winning quality. Additionally, they served as an Advisory Board Member, leveraging their expertise in consultative sales and digital communication to help the company reach its full potential.

From 2013 to 2021, Alexander worked at Cision Sverige, first as a Commercial Director for the Nordics region and later as the Commercial Director for all of Cision Scandinavia. Alexander was responsible for managing sales teams and developing regional go-to-market plans. In these roles, they achieved significant margin growth and double-digit revenue growth.

At Cision, Alexander held two previous positions, first as the Sales & Marketing Director for the Scandinavian countries and later as the Business Development and Marketing Director, focusing on software-as-a-service and improving time-to-market.

Prior to Cision, Alexander worked at Observer AB as the Director of Business Development and Concept Manager, where they led a team in developing and pricing services for the Nordic market. Alexander also held the role of Product Manager for value-added services.

In 2000, Alexander joined Romeike as the Director of Value Added Services, where they successfully grew the business from £300,000 to nearly £2 million.

Alexander Mason completed a course called "Styrelseutbildning Rätt fokus i styrelsearbetet" at Styrelseakademien in 2015. Alexander pursued Sales Management studies at Mercuri International from 2010 to 2011. In their earlier years, they attended Stockholm University from 1993 to 1997, and obtained a Master's degree in Business and Marketing.
