Before joining Returnista, Jesper worked at American Express for several years. Jesper held the position of Manager Business Development from September 2017 to November 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager Sales from September 2015 to August 2017 and as a Sales Representative from February 2014 to August 2015.

In the same year, Jesper enrolled at HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht (Hogeschool Utrecht) to study Small Business & Retail Management.
