Dr. Bill Griggs AM ASM is an accomplished medical professional and academic with extensive experience in emergency medicine, retrieval services, and leadership roles in various organizations. Currently serving as an Emeritus Professor at the University of Adelaide and an elected board member of multiple organizations including Funds SA, ReturnToWorkSA, and Super SA, Dr. Griggs has a long history of service with the SA Ambulance Service, where involvement dates back to 1976. Dr. Griggs has held significant positions such as Clinical Director for the South Australian Statewide Emergency Medical Retrieval Service and Group Captain for the Royal Australian Air Force, participating in numerous operational deployments. With a strong educational background, including an MBA and multiple medical degrees, Dr. Griggs has contributed significantly to trauma care research and training, while also serving as Chair of Operations for St John Ambulance Australia (SA) Inc and holding leadership roles in the Motor Accident Commission SA and James Cook University.
