Carol Baxter is the current VP & Head of HR at Revature. Carol has over 6 years of experience with the company in various HR positions, including HR Director and Head of HR. In their current role, they are responsible for overseeing and executing the people functions of the company, including developing and managing HR processes and functions related to compensation and benefits, recruiting and retention, performance management, HRIS, and employee relations. Carol has also developed and implemented human resources processes that support an employee-oriented, high performance culture. Additionally, they have led and continuously improved the talent acquisition, development and retention strategy for the company. Carol has also developed practices and communication across the company to ensure that the people, policies, and actions reflect the values of the organization. Prior to their current role at Revature, Carol was the HR Director at MBO Partners for 9 years. In this role, they were responsible for the strategy and administration of a range of HR functions, including but not limited to employee benefit programs, workers compensation, unemployment, immigration, employee relations, HR compliance, and Facility Security Officer (FSO) for the security program. Carol also provided strategic direction to the Associate Human Resources team to align the HR program offerings with organizational and operational goals. Carol is a highly experienced HR professional with a wealth of knowledge in all areas of HR. Carol is a strategic thinker who is able to develop creative solutions to complex problems. Carol is an excellent communicator who is able to build strong relationships with their colleagues and clients.
Carol Baxter has a human resource certificate from George Mason University's School of Management and the SPHR designation from 2011 to 2011. Carol also has a bachelor's degree in business administration from SUNY Geneseo with a focus in human resources management and services.
